Ofcom publishes its latest Media Literacy research
Ofcom has published its latest Media Literacy research, providing an accessible overview of the media habits and opinions of children aged 5-15 and their parents, and UK adults aged 16+. Data is taken from our 2010 fieldwork, and trends over time are included where possible. We have also published Annexes providing information about the main websites visited and TV programmes viewed among these age groups.

People have more flexibility and more choice than ever before when it comes to what, how and when they access media content and use communications services. However, there is little research available into how people use media and communications devices together and the relationships between them.
Ofcom publishes The Consumer Experience 2010
Ofcom has published its fifth annual report on The Consumer Experience of telecoms, the internet and digital broadcasting markets. It discusses the results of our research programme, which measured how well consumers have fared over the past year in their use of these services.

UK consumers revealed as early adopters of new technologies
UK consumers are some of the earliest adopters of new communications technologies, new Ofcom research reveals.
They are among the best connected for broadband, mobile and digital TV and the UK has seen the fastest growth in smartphone take-up. UK consumers are also enjoying lower prices for communications services than many consumers across the world.
Ofcom’s fifth International Communications Market report into the global communications market looks at take-up, availability and use of broadband, landlines, mobiles, TV and radio in 17 countries.
