In the UK CEOP and Facebook have developed a new free application or app which aims to help young people stay safe within Facebook. ‘ClickCEOP’ links the young user and parent directly from their Facebook home page to help, advice and the reporting facilities of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre.

Professor Tanya Byron has confirmed the UK as a world leader in child internet safety but advised that Government and Industry need to make faster progress in delivery if the UK is to stay ahead of advances in technology.
