June edition of Ofcom's media literacy e-bulletin
The June edition of our Media Literacy e-bulletin looks at how the Government’s review of public expenditure is affecting the world of media literacy with the re-scoping of the digital participation programme. The work to promote the benefits of being online continues through the Race Online 2012 campaign. We also look at media literacy partner campaigns such as Age UK’s itea and biscuits week and the National Fraud Authority’s Fraud focus newsletter.
This edition of the e-bulletin also has a special feature on the upcoming Media Literacy Conference in November and an opportunity for readers to access a new article by Sonia Livingstone and Ellen Helsper on teenagers’ use of the internet. In addition, the e-bulletin contains the nations round-up and a new set of dates for your diary.
